DISCIPLINE AND CODE OF CONDUCT
- Self-discipline is the best discipline. All the students are expected to observe rules and regulations currently in force to enable smooth working of the college.
- Students shall not do anything inside or outside the college that will interfere with the administration or hamper the image of the college.
- No outside influence, political or otherwise will be tolerated.
- Ragging and Smoking in the college premises and in the canteen is strictly prohibited.
- Students should always display their valid college identity card while in the college premises.
- Students must not loiter in the college corridors when lectures/ tutorials/examinations and tests are in progress.
- Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the college premises.
- Students must carry valid identity card while representing the college at any other place and their behavior should not damage the image of the college.
- Picnics and excursions or trips cannot be organized by students without the written permission of the Principal.
- Attendance for seminars/ guest lectures and counseling sessions are mandatory for all students.
- Students are required to dress decently keeping in mind the decorum of an educational institution.
- In all matters relating to admission, attendance, discipline, granting of facilities, conduct of extra curricular activities, granting of examination forms, etc., the decision of the Principal shall be final & binding on all the students.
ATTENDANCE & GRANT OF TERMS
Attendance of students is regulated by 0.119 & 0.125
- 0.119 : As per the circulation no. VA/235/98 dated 03/07/1998 related to 0.119 for granting of terms, attendance of 75% of theory, practical & tutorials (wherever prescribed) separately will be required, out of the total number of lectures, practicals & tutorials conducted in the term.
- 0.125 : As per this ordinance, to keep a term at a college or recognised institution, an under graduate must complete to the satisfaction of the Principal or the Head of the Institution, the course of study at the college or Institution prescribed for such terms for the class to which such undergraduates belong.
- Parents are advised to take note of above mandatory ordinances of maintaining minimum attendance.
- Application for leave of absence of their wards on account of illness or any other valid reason should be submitted along with the proof to the college authorities within two days of resuming classes.
- Parents are requested to attend the term-end counseling sessions to keep themselves abreast of their wards attendance and progress.
